Stephen Yonaty Joins CHW
Buffalo, NY: Cannon Heyman & Weiss, LLP, is pleased to announce that Stephen L. Yonaty has joined the law firm’s Buffalo office as an associate. He has been practicing law since 1995 and is admitted in both New York and New Jersey.
Prior to joining CHW, Yonaty worked as a senior associate at Hodgson Russ LLP for seven years where he focused on the areas of bankruptcy, commercial litigation, creditor’s rights, and general business and corporate matters. He also worked as a law clerk and then an attorney at the law firm of Nesper, Ferber & DiGiacomo.
Yonaty is a 1990 graduate of Cornell University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. He then went on to graduate from the University at Buffalo in 1994 with both an MBA and a Juris Doctorate.
Aside from practicing law, Yonaty is involved in a variety of professional associations and community activities, including the Erie County Bar Foundation, the Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador Network, and the Jewish Federation of Greater Buffalo. He lives in Amherst with his wife Kim, who is also an attorney, and their two children, Ariella and Asher.
