After college I managed a large meat farm in Central New York — 850 acres, 140 black Angus, 1600 Yorkshire pigs, about 120 Boer goats, and 50 chickens. It was a lot of work. I've always dreamed of owning a smaller farm to raise a dozen or so sheep.
What was your most memorable job or work experience?
Once I helped secure a loan for a couple to start a family business making and selling chocolate. Two weeks after the loan closing, I visited the store to check in. As I entered the store, the couple's young children were playing quietly next to some customers who were sitting and sipping hot chocolates. The mother was behind the counter selling chocolate to a college student. And the father was in the back making a batch of chocolate. I will never forget the feeling of helping and seeing a family's dream made reality.
Something else I think you should know about me...
I am fascinated by markets and exchanges. When I am not hanging out with my family, I enjoy following the equities and crypto currency markets.
