2010 Preservation Buffalo Niagara Awards

CHW was proud to be a sponsor of the 2010 Preservation Awards Luncheon hosted by Preservation Buffalo Niagara and the City of Buffalo Preservation Board.  The luncheon was held May 12, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Buffalo, NY.

Carol Ash, Commissioner of the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation and the State Historic Preservation Officer was the keynote speaker of the event.  Priorities identified by Commissioner Ash are enhancing educational and interpretive programming throughout the system’s parks and historic sites, fostering stronger relationships with community partners and connecting open spaces across the state.  Her vision for the future of State Parks includes improving park infrastructure and working to ensure that the agency’s policies and initiatives can serve as a model in efforts to address global warming.
