CHW opens 2023 Scholarship Fund for applications

The law firm of Cannon Heyman & Weiss has opened its 2023 Scholarship Fund for applications, which marks the 10th year of the program’s existence. The deadline for applications is December 31, 2022.

The Fund was created to help students who live in affordable housing obtain financial aid for full- or part-time study at approved colleges, junior colleges, technical, schools, and other post-secondary institutions leading to a degree, diploma, or certificate. Graduate studies are not eligible.

The 2023 awards are expected to be in the amounts of $12,500, $7,500, and $5,000. 

The CHW Scholarship Fund was created in 2013 as an extension of the CHW mission and is reflective of our commitment to the affordable housing industry and community development. Through the 2021-2022 cycle, CHW has awarded more than $185,000 in scholarships to qualified students.

The Scholarship Fund is entirely underwritten by CHW and we are neither soliciting nor accepting outside financial support.
