CHW Sponsor and Exhibitor at NYSPHADA Conference

CHW was a sponsor of the New York State Public Housing Authority Directors Association (NYSPHADA) 27th Annual Spring Conference, held May 1-2, 2019 at the Turning Stone Resort & Casino in Verona, NY. The firm also exhibited at the event. This year’s conference featured four tracks: RAD, Section 8 practices, Commissioner’s Essentials, and Policies.

CHW Partner, Jeremy Root served on a panel, along with Andy Tyman, Geneva Housing Authority and Bruce Levine, 3D Development Group in the session titled Putting a Deal Together with Extensive Renovations. The panel discussed a case study regarding the Geneva Housing Authority’s conversion to PBRA with renovations, LIHTC, historic tax credits, bond financing, PH Preservation Funding, Use of Not-For-Profit Affiliates, and Limited Partnerships.
