Steve Weiss Speaks at NYAHSA

The New York Association of Homes & Services for the Aging Annual Conference for Housing Professionals was held April 27, 2010

in Syracuse, New York.  Steven J. Weiss, Partner, presented a workshop session entitled “Financing Options for Affordable Senior Housing” which discussed the refinancing opportunities available for the preservation of affordable senior housing including the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program, tax-exempt bonds and conventional refinancing.  Discussions included building renovations, green building features, energy efficiency, cultivating resources, community redevelopment and the Weatherization program.
