What’s the most interesting place you’ve ever been and why?

The Arenal region of Costa Rica. Hidden deep in the jungle, surrounded by the warm smells, vibrant colors and absolute cacophony of nature; its a slice of heaven and a memory that will forever be tangible for me.

What is or are your guilty pleasure(s)?

I am not ashamed to say, my guilty pleasure is spending hours getting lost in video games. The way a well crafted storyline can utterly immerse you in a wholly new and unique world goes far beyond what movies or books can do. Combine that with being able to play and experience these worlds with my loved ones and I find the memories of these galaxy quests and mystical creature hunts to be so vivid as to have be real.

Among your friends or family, what are you famous for?

My love of rock climbing. Climbing outdoors on bare rock, whether a 10' boulder hidden in the forest or a 600' spire on top of a mountain, every climb is an unforgettable experience. From finding hidden trails that are smaller than deer paths, to puzzling out the best route up a sheer rock face, each moment is filled with adventure, challenges, and danger, but they are filled with freedom and growth (not to mention the views that so few get to see). Aside from marriage, its been the most adventurous and rewarding aspect of my life.
